What does it take to build a guitar? A little bit of wood, glue, shellac, fretwire, and a few tools. Some skill and lots of patience come in handy as well.
As for me, making guitars is as much about the process as it is about the end result. Each luthier must find his or her “groove”. Individuality of a luthier’s work is what makes a good hand-made guitar so intriguing and appealing.
