Port Orford Cedar has been gaining a reputation and a following as a fine guitar tonewood for backs, sides, and even soundboards. Despite its name, Port Orford Cedar is actually in the cypress family. Being a cypress, Port Orford Cedar aligns well with the tradition of using Spanish cypress in flamenco guitars.
